| 51 I am the living bread, who descended from heaven. 53 Therefore, the Jews debated among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 54 And so, Jesus said to them: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you. 55 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 56 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 57 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 58 Just as the living Father has sent me and I live because of the Father, so also whoever eats me, the same shall live because of me. |
